RNC fundraising up in 2007

According to recent emails from the RNC, not only are Republican member numbers up but so are fundraising levels!

The RNC raised $83 million in 2007, which outpaced the DNC’s fundraising levels of $51 million.

This number means that 800,000 supporters sent an average of $227,000 per day to the RNC last year.

It sounds like the RNC is in a good position financially for 2008, and the Democrats may need to tweak their message a bit to lure in supporters and cash.
